Lodging

The most convenient lodging is at the camping where the venue is located, as the venue is just some hundred metres away, and there is a supermarket and a restaurant nearby as well. The camping offers lodging in bungalows of which there are several options described below. All bungalows have their own kitchen and toilet and sleep 3 to 5 people.

It is also possible to set up a tent and camp at the camping. Prices for this option are also below. Remember that in April the weather can still be cold in Madrid at times

♦ Bungalow Especial. (46 m²) sleeps 4+1. 4 individual beds, 1 extra bed

♦ Bungalow Clásico. (42 m²) sleeps 4+1. 1 double bed, 2 individual beds, 1 extra bed

♦ Bungalow Rústico. (42 m²) sleeps 4+1. 1 double bed, 2 individual beds, 1 extra bed

♦ Bungalow for Handicapped (3 pax.) 197,00 €. Sleeps 3. 1 double bed, 1 individual bed..

All bungalows have their own kitchen and there is a supermarket in the area to buy food.

The lodging schedule in Bungalows will be from Friday 9 April (6pm) to Sunday 11 April (maximum until 7pm). Only one car per bungalow is permitted.


♦ Food
You can buy your own food at the local supermarket and cook it in the bungalow kitchen.
Or you can eat at the restaurant. IMPORTANT! We strongly recommend you book your meals when booking your lodging, to insure the restaurant has food available. The restaurant does not guarantee being able to serve meals otherwise.

The cost of the Food at the Restaurant on location for the entire stay is 59.80 € and includes six meals as follows: :

  • 9 ABRIL, 10 to 11:30 pm Supper
  • 10 ABRIL, 8:30 am Continental Breakfast, 1:30 to 3:00 pm Lunch, 10 to 11:30 pm Supper
  • 11 ABRIL, 8:30 am Continental Breakfast, 1:30 to 3:00 pm Lunch

The food offered will be local Spanish fare and will not include vegetarian options
For those not subscribing to having all the meals included, and would want just occasional meals, please send an email pointing out the meals you want to estradom@yahoo.es or intent@linktent.com and you will receive a bank account number to make your payment and secure your meals. The restaurant does not guarantee being able to serve meals otherwise.

Instructions for booking your bungalow::

  1. If you already have a group formed for booking a bungalow, pick the type of bungalow you want and send an email to tensymadrid@yahoo.es with the names of the occupants and the following information:

    • ID/Passport:
    • Model, colour and license plate of your vehicle (if you are coming by car):
    • Email:
    • Telephone number (preferably mobile phone):
    • Meals Included (Yes / No):

    Go to step 3.
  2. If your group is not formed, go to forum of lodgings and you will be able to join other practitioners and organise groups. When you are organised, choose a bungalow type and send to tensymadrid@yahoo.es the following information:
    Information of each of the occupants:
    • Name:
    • Surname:
    • ID/Passport:
    • Model, colour and license plate of your vehicle (if you are coming by car):
    • Email:
    • Telephone number (preferably mobile phone):
    • Meals Included (Yes / No):

  3. The group representative (case 1) or all the members of the group (case 2) will receive an email. In the email you will be told the sum you have to pay and the bank account in which to pay it, in order to secure the booking
  4. Once the payment is done you will receive a confirmation of the booking. In the case of the groups formed via the web, each person will receive a payment confirmation, but the booking confirmation will only be received once all the members of the group have paid.

Normal leaving times are 12:00 noon, with a courtesy time for picking up until 2pm. If one would prefer to stay until 9pm, visitors can pay 50% of the normal day Price. .
The menu at the restaurant is between12 € and15€ for lunch and supper, and 29 € for all three daily meals.

Lodging at the town of El Escorial: all hotels, hostels and pensions are between 5 and 7 Km from the seminar venue (Camping El Escorial).
